Over the course of my career, searching for the unexpected recipe, after more than twenty years, I discovered a technique which, over time, I have been refining until reaching the desired contemporary art.
Originally from Mexico City (born November 25, 1963), with studies at The Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and a diploma from Paris.
My work evolves through distinct stages: starting with Egyptian and pre-Hispanic influences fused with a graffiti alphabet and mathematical precision; moving through themes of isolation represented by closed doors and automated, robotized human routines; and confronting the passage of time in the series Time That Does Not Exist. Following a period of introspection and a sense of fading, I entered a "Perception" phase, channeling graffiti graphics and text to address global crises and societal concerns. This contemplation ultimately leads to an unknown zone where I realize everything around me is merely an optical illusion.
